About me

Origins

I was born on the other side of the "big sea" -the Mediterranean, also known as Middle Sea, Our Sea, or the Great Sea. Yet deep down, I've always felt my soul belonged to this marvelous and mysterious place.

My name means "beloved," and I truly believe I couldn't have wished for a more loving family or been blessed with better friends.

As a child, I lived in my own world of fantasies, but beyond that, thanks to my wonderful parents, I had the opportunity to enjoy rich experiences meeting all sorts of people and exploring diverse places.

My Journey

My journey to Israel began in 1988, followed by visits in 1991, 1992, and many more times thereafter, inspired by my parents' deep passion for this land and my father's dedication to leading groups from Spain and sharing stories about it with everyone he could.

I lived on a kibbutz in 2002 and often returned to travel and volunteer.

After spending nearly a decade working at the only Jewish bookstore in Spain, the Jewish Information Center of Toledo, I moved to Israel in 2011 and became an Israeli citizen in 2014.

Experience & Passions

I consider myself a 'jack of all trades, master of none,' with a diverse background that includes studying and working in music, computers, graphic design, media and broadcasting, paramedicine, nursing, public health, and tour guiding, among other fields.

I have a love for singing (though I usually save it for the shower or solo drives in my van) and take great joy in bringing happiness to others while learning from their stories and experiences.

I wander the length and breadth of this land, dreaming of one day having a humble home in Jerusalem to share with my family and loved ones.

My Purpose

I'm here, first and foremost, to learn, and I invite you to join me to see, feel, and experience everything for yourself.

I'm not here to teach; I'm here to grow and discover, sharing my notes and insights to assist fellow travelers on their own unique journeys.

Although I've created some videos, my goal isn't to become a YouTuber. Instead, I aim to offer thoughtful explanations of certain places and concepts, along with practical recommendations to help you prepare for the trip of a lifetime.

Through these efforts, I hope to provide a more authentic perspective on the wonders of this land, one that counters misconceptions and transcends the narratives often shaped by the media. This journey is about breaking down barriers and discovering the truth of this remarkable place together.
